In life there are the takers and the givers...which one are you? I just came across this book I read about a year ago called The Go-Giver, it's more of a book about the secret to success in business. Yes, I know I don't have a "real" paying job but it looked interesting and it was an easy, short read. I believe that if I had a "real" paying job that according to this book...I would be Super Successful! It says the secret to success is giving. I don't know if I'd be more successful but I love to give more than receiving...unless it's a shiny diamond from my husband. THE LAW OF VALUE - It says "Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment." So I'm gonna try my 40 Random Acts of Kindness that my friend Toni did for her 40th birthday....I think that it should be a ritual for everyone. Do RAOK based on your age. Think how many peoples lives you could touch by one simple gesture of kindness. I'll post on mine later but would love to know what your RAOK are.
